About this Event

Topic: The Reality of Severe Autism

Guest speaker: Dr. Amy Lutz, Vice-President, National Council on Severe Autism (NCSA); Author, Chasing the Intact Mind

Join us for a presentation from Dr. Amy Lutz as she discusses the reality of severe autism and shares insights from her new book, Chasing the Intact Mind, which refers to the idea that inside every autistic child, is an intelligent, typical child waiting to be liberated by the right diet, the right treatment intervention, the right combination of supports and accommodations. While this concept can be reassuring to parents, Dr. Lutz examines the consequences and the impact on services for individuals with severe autism and their families.

LNCS (pronounced “links”) is a group of parents and family members of adults with autism and other neurodiversities who are committed to coaching and connecting families to achieve action-oriented outcomes. The goal of LNCS is to help pave the way to more independent and joyful living for individuals—and peace of mind for families.

Attendance is limited, so please let us know if you plan to join us. For families unable to be there in person, register to attend via Zoom.
