The community tradition continues with Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in a 5K and 10K road race for all ages and abilities. The 5K offers competitive and casual runners a great 3.1 mile race while also welcoming walkers and families with strollers on the relatively flat and scenic course. 2024 Challenge: In a popular return race series, the Shoreline Challenge explores three beautiful race courses in participants’ distance of choice! Start it off at the Mystic Half Marathon and 10K on May 19 and sign up for either distance at Summer Stride; and finish at the Surftown Half Marathon, Relay & 5K on September 8 to earn the special Shoreline Challenge medal.
