Forget the Group How am I? is an improv workshop that focuses on your favorite performer in the world…YOU! This class will take an in depth look at your specific strengths and weaknesses as an improviser and customize exercises to help you break out of your particular safe-zones. The goal of this workshop is to improve your overall confidence and knowledge of yourself onstage and ultimately serve your fellow improvisers better.
Lloyd Ahlquist aka EpicLLOYD is a two-time Emmy Nominated rapper, actor and improvisor who has been teaching and performing improv professionally for nearly 30 years. He is an owner of the prestigious Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica, CA and a founding member of the Mission IMPROVable National Touring Co. Most importantly, he hosts the World’s Best Improv Jam in the World every Monday night at the WCT. Known online as EpicLLOYD, Ahlquist is also the co-creator and star of the acclaimed Youtube series, Epic Rap Battles of History. With 12 Certified Gold Records, 15 million subscribers and over 4 billion views, ERB has solidified itself as one of the most successful comedy series of all time. Lloyd currently works and resides in Los Angeles with his wife who would be happy to meet you and his two dogs who would not.
Class sizes are limited. Enrollment is dependent upon availability. For enrolled students a confirmation welcome email will be sent 48 before the start of the first class. There are no refunds or transfers on tuition.
