LLNN + special guests: Redwood Hill + We Are Among Storms
LLNN has announced a new album titled "UNMAKER".
"UNMAKER" is the 3rd album from the Danish dark, heavy, post-apocalyptic band and is scheduled to be released on September 24 this year via Pelagic Records.
On November 5th the band will celebrate the release together with REDWOOD HILL and WE ARE AMONG STORMS on stage!
LLNN's contemporary heaviness is also the very dominant synths and drones that evoke the feel and vibe of dystopian, post-apocalyptic sci-fi movies, inspired by composers like Brad Fiedel, Vangalis, John Carpenter and Stanley Kubrick as much as by Sci-Fi/horror games like Silent Hill, Dead Space, Halo & Limbo. “As huge fans of classic sci-fi scores and video games we’re fascinated by how cinematic sound design can evoke certain emotions and let our imagination unfold into abstract storytelling,” says keys player Ketil G. Sejersen. “A big part of the sound design in LLNN is initially created by field recordings, and afterwards by modulating the raw audio files in post-production.”
The music is bleak and seems set in a dissonant musical landscape with its barrage of drums, guitars, screams and cinematic soundscapes.
"UNMAKER" will be released in 5 different vinyl colour variants. All coloured variants come with a 2nd LP featuring only the synth sounds, titled Sonic Fragments from Unmaker. These fragments on their own, exposed and without the rest of the band, constitute an unrhythmical parallel universe to the album, and allow an interesting peak into the band’s dark cosmos.
Since 2014 LLNN the band has released two full length albums (“Loss” 2016, “Deads” 2018), one split album (“Marks” 2017) and toured most parts of Europe. LLNN has performed at acclaimed festivals such as Roadburn (NL), Roskilde Festival (DEN), ArcTanGent (UK), Pelagic Fest (GER) and Desertfest (UK).
The band is signed to Pelagic Records (The Ocean, Cult of Luna, Envy).

Atmospheric Blackened Post-Metal / Hardcore.
Redwood Hill was formed as in 2010 with the intent of morphing Post-Hardcore/metal with black metal and instrumental Post-Rock.
Although initially thought as a pass time project, the band soon saw themselves in the spotlight when they landed a support gig in 2011 for Japanese Post-Rock legends Envy. Spots at Roskilde festival and Copenhell followed in 2012 and the band has since played few, but prolific concerts with the likes of Deafheaven, Rosetta, The Ocean, The Secret as well as two returns to Copenhell in 2014 and 2016, they also have Buma Rocks! A colossal Weekend and SPOT festival on their resume.
The band is currently preparing the release of their third album Ender.
Redwood Hill’s music aims to convey feelings of despair, isolation, insanity and depression but not without leaving the listener with a glimpse of hope in the midst of the sombre musical and lyrical landscape.
In a live setting the band strive towards letting the music carry the conversation with the listener. To this end, the band has cultivated a somewhat introverted approach to concerts utilizing smoke, hoodies, backs turned to the audience and a minimum of verbal communication.
Redwood hill has released three full-length albums, an EP and a 7”split:
2012 Descender
2013 Applewhite split w. Hexis 2014 Collider
2017 Fragments EP
2020 Ender

Chaotic Hardcore / Post-Metal.
We Are Among Storms is a musical three-piece consisting of drums, guitar and vocals.
With members from other Copenhagen-based hardcore bands such as Église and The Psyke Project, the band mixes aggressive, heavy moods and serene, uplifting ambiances into one combined sound.
The Self-titled EP in 2018 was followed by their debut album in early 2021.
The heavily praised ”The I In We” is a blend of uncompromising, modern tunes released through Over The Under Records.
Contrasting the negative and positive, dark and hopeful, melancholic and carefree – We Are Among Storms wishes to embrace every aspect of the human life and channel it to the listener and the live audience.
