Beginner Class, Week 16
Moto's Minnow. Moto's Minnow is a streamer pattern designed to imitate small baitfish, a primary food source for predatory species like trout, bass, and pike. Its lifelike profile, and flowing materials create the illusion of a darting minnow, triggering instinctive strikes. The movement created by the combination of partridge and marabou make it especially effective in stained water or low-light conditions. It should be fished with varied retrieves—quick strips, slow swings, or erratic twitches—to mimic the unpredictable motion of fleeing prey.
