Lizard Lounge #3By popular demand, the Lizard Lounge returns for the third instalment of its reunion series. It features the original Fab 2 DJs Rob G and Dan and a swag of party tunes straight out of the 90s and before and beyond! And this time we really have something to celebrate. It’s our 35th Anniversary.
February 1990 the Lizard Lounge began with DJs Rob and Jason, Rob having just left DJing at the Beehive and Rubber Soul in West Melbourne. With a musical manifesto being played whatever gets the feet moving it began as a musical mix of the Doors and ABBA with Stone Roses thrown into the mix. Then KLF, Nirvana, grunge, techno Britpop and the Lizard Lounge exploded along. 3 nights a week of sweaty dancing drinking singalongs at the Union in Windsor.
So, on Saturday, February 8th, we’re bringing back that happy feeling one more time! Join us at Odeon Richmond from 8pm to 1am. It’s going to be a blast!
