Welcome back Sugar Hill Records artist Liz Longley
Liz Longley
Best known for her stop-you-in-your-tracks voice, Liz Longley is an accomplished singer-songwriter based out of Nashville. Known for her deeply emotional music, Liz has earned accolades from some of the most prestigious songwriting competitions in the country, including the BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship Competition. Signed with Sugar Hill Records, her self-titled debut album received critical acclaim, being described as “a thing of beauty” (Pop Dose) and “packed with instantly memorable pop rock songs…” (Popmatters) Her follow up album Weightless, released in 2016, was praised as “stunning” (HuffPost) and “something more; a cleverness, a wit and a mix of musical styles” (Dallas Morning News) Liz’s music has been featured on tv shows such as Lifetime’s "Army Wives,” ABC’s "Beauty & The Beast" and MTV’s “Scream.”
In her latest single, Longley delivers on her ability to craft intimately personal portraits through music with her emotional take on the Four Tops’ “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)”. The Berklee College of Music alumn is headed into the studio with 5-time Grammy-nominated producer, Paul Moak, for her much awaited sixth album.

Portair
Compared to the likes of Matt Corby by Triple J radio host Celline Narinli, Portair is an Indie/alternative multi-instrumentalist producer and songwriter from Australia. Born in Sydney and having grown up in Canberra, Portair is now based in Los Angeles, moving abroad to sign a publishing and record deal. As a songwriter and a producer, he’s had tracks and scores placed on networks such as Netflix, NBC, MTV, CBS. “When I moved to LA, I wanted to start something organic,” the Aussie native says. “This project is all my ideas I can express in one cohesive art form.” Portair would rather let his music speak for itself. It’s an alluring introduction to a natural storyteller, whose earthy folk-pop wades through life’s pain to discover its harmony. No stranger to live music, he performed his first show with his band at LA’s Moroccan Lounge to a sold out audience in October 2019. Portair was also a performer at 2020’s Room Service virtual music festival alongside artists such as A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Chelsea Cutler and Jeremy Zucker. Portair is currently working on completing an album due out late 2021.
