Liwei Shen is a professional landscape architect based in San Francisco whose practice extends beyond the built environment into drawing as a way of thinking, sensing, and imagining space. She believes that landscape architecture should engage global dynamics and risks while beautifully representing local cultures. The Layered Landscape pieces reflect an ongoing curiosity surrounding the resilient and reciprocal relationships between humans and nature.
