About this Event

What does it mean to be truly present, to our longings, to our loves, and to and in our bodies? What could it mean to ‘live without a why’?

Dorothee Sölle, a German Liberation Theologian and poet said, “the soul that is able to live in this spirit has no need to justify its existence; it simply appreciates the beauty of being alive in the now. To live without a why is to live and love as God lives and loves. It is about accomplishing one’s actions without the need for recognition and success.”

Join Dr. Roberto Che Espinoza & Derek Webb for an evening of poetry & song, conversation & storytelling focused on finding ourselves at home & fully present in our bodies, our spiritualities, and our communities. This highly engaging night will have a conversational style, following the thread of stories in the room, and will feature excerpts from Dr. Roberto’s newest book, Body Becoming: A Path To Our Liberation and preview songs from Derek’s upcoming new album, The Jesus Hypothesis.

  • Doors open at 6PM
