About this Event
Death has become hidden, making it harder for us to come to terms with the reality of it. It hasn't always been this way. As part of the modern death-positive movement, Living While Mortal is creating space for those who want the chance to talk openly about mortality. In this relatively light hearted introductory workshop, we will discuss what gets in the way of talking about death, and get some practice bringing this taboo topic into the room.
How might talking about our inevitable endings reduce fear, anxiety and dread? Could talking about death actually be fun and freeing? We think so. Join us to find out.
This event is brought to you in part by ETHOS and LGBTQ Senior Housing. It will take place in person in the Community Room at The Pryde in Hyde Park.
