About this Event
When someone close to you has been told their time is limited, or you see them becoming weaker, it can bring up worries and uncertainty. This is an introductory session for family members, friends and carers to gently begin to face the unknown. You will get suggestions for easing the situation, and a wellbeing session with Capacitar practices for soothing emotions. This is an opportunity to get answers to your questions - and there are no silly questions.

Numbers are limited to 15 for this workshop. We understand it can be difficult to face attending such an event and will make it as informal and comfortable as possible, with tea, coffee and, of course, cake.
We aim to offer a safe space for carers, families and friends to:
• be strengthened and supported to be alongside someone who is dying
• learn about the process of dying
• find out about people and organisations they can turn to, such as The Journey Home, to reassure that they are not alone
• connect with each other
