Afro-psyche-soul band Living Things transforms stagnant realism into active humanism. Living Things host a musical dialogue of traditions; drum and bass grooves echoing Yoruba parables suspended in the harmonic introspection of post-puck and progressive legacies. Full-spectrum vocal performances by Selu align with the complex guitar work of Morgan Baker, while bassist Sean Montgomery Dietz and drummer Segun Akano root the band’s original music in its organic depth. Expect emotion, inspiration, and changes of perspective. Expect to dance and have your soul stirred. The group are regularly joined by several guest performers on percussion, keys, guitar and vocals
