We are excited to welcome Michael Goheen as our guest speaker this year for the Okanagan Biblical Theology Conference. Michael will be sharing on the topic of "Living the Gospel for the Sake of the World." He will be leading 3 of our sessions and then we have various other speakers leading break out sessions related to his topic.
Conference Format:
Session 1 - Friday Night @ 7:00pm - "The Gospel and the Biblical Story"
Session 2 - Saturday Morning @ 10:30am - "A Missional People Encountering Culture"
Session 3 - Saturday Afternoon @ 1:00pm - "God's Mission and the Local Congregation"
Session 4 - Saturday Afternoon @ 3:00pm - Break Out Sessions
Lunch will be served on Saturday for those attending the whole weekend!
Childcare will be available on Saturday for kids 10 and under. Please e-mail [email protected] if you have kids who would be coming.
Speaker Bio: Michael Goheen is director of Theological Education and professor of missional theology at Missional Training Center (Phoenix), and professor of missional theology at Calvin Theological Seminary (Grand Rapids). In Canada he has taught Bible and Theology at both Trinity Western University and Redeemer University. He is married to Marnie and together they have four adult children and eleven grandchildren. He splits his time between Surrey, B.C., and Tempe, Arizona.
