About this Event
WALKTOBER is an event part of the 4 Seasons Walks, a series of walks led by Living Streets, a program by BEST.
Each of the walks is accessible for all ages and abilities.
All routes have access to benches and public washroom facilities.
Everyone is welcome. We cherish the value of intergenerational activities. We aim for these events to be an opportunity to meet new people and value the community we live in.
This is an outdoor activity, which will include a walk from Charleson Park down the seawall to Diwali Fest Vancouver at the Roundhouse Community Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet people, walk, and take in the cultural celebrations put on by Diwali Fest!
This route is monodirectional, complimentary Compass vouchers to return to the starting point will be included.
Our activity will start on the Northwest part of Charleson Park, and last about 60 minutes. The route is mostly flat, 4.3 kms in total. Karissa will be at the starting point holding the Living Streets sign.
