Living Soils and Compost Teas

In this class we are introduced to the microbial world of compost. We go over the benefits of using compost and other living amendments instead of synthetic fertilizers in your garden. We discuss soil ecology and techniques for using organic material to build soil and increase plant health. Then we go over multiple kinds of compost teas and how to make and use them.

This is a good intermediate to advanced compost and gardening class. I recommend it as a follow up to my Compost 101 course. If you are unfamiliar with composting this class may be a little advanced for you,
