About this Event
The group based course introduces techniques that help you deal better with negative thinking and make it through life transitions (going to college, retirement, grieving, etc.).
Although there is minimal screening, we do not recommend this course for those experiencing active psychosis, suicidal thoughts or unaddressed trauma.
This is not therapy or counselling but rather a general mental health promotion course, focusing on resilience. You will build skills and knowledge using CBT principles. The course is meant to change your life but not save it.
The course is from Wednesday, October 15 to December 3 from 4 PM until 5:30 PM every Wednesday at the CMHA main site location, meeting room #2 (111 Elm Street).
If you prefer to receive an invoice and pay for the course with cash or cheque instead of credit card, please contact us.
