About this Event
The Living Life concert is a celebration of this amazing thing called life! We do this in the memory of Christopher Aaron Smith who lived his life fully everyday! The To Then From Now - Christopher A. Smith Foundation, was created in honor of Christopher, who was an University of New Haven Alumnus. The foundation supports community service and an endowment scholarship created by students and teachers at the University of New Haven. The scholarship, the first named in honor of an African American at the university, is awarded to minority students in the music department at the university.
The concert is being produced to raise money in support of the foundation and the scholarship, as well as just being a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! This event features some of the musical talents of Teaneck. Many of the musicians knew Chris during his brief time here. They have generously come together to "seize the day" and express their love of music, much in the same way that Chris would have.
Enjoy the concert and know that your contribution will help support other talented musicians. The Foundation and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Iota Epsilon Omega Chapter are proud to bring you this very special event.
