This year, the BCHA is undertaking its largest project in decades: a complete review of our collections and archives. The temporary exhibit space inside the Sheriff’s Residence is being converted into a workspace for staff and volunteers to sift through tens of thousands of pieces of Berrien County’s past. Throughout the year, you have a chance to watch our staff in action as they work.
This living lab, which is included in your admission to the museum, will give you a chance to see how museum professionals work to preserve history. From our oldest pieces to the newest acquisitions, you’ll have a chance to see our collections and archives in ways you never have before.
