Love is a state of being that we can choose to embrace. It allows us to see love, give love, and embody love in every moment. Imagine viewing life through this beautiful lens of love. This is the essence of Bhakti yoga, a path rooted in ancient wisdom that has the power to transform your life. Can you make choices driven by love rather than fear?
It’s incredible how often fear influences our decisions. We worry about others’ opinions, fear failure, or dread getting hurt. These fears end up shaping our lives, holding us back from living authentically and freely. But it doesn’t have to be this way. This workshop is an invitation to explore how to open your heart and discover the joy of CHOOSING LOVE <3
September Sept 7, 10am- 12:15pm $30 (sign up link available)
Join us for a potluck and Kirtan from 1:00PM-4:00PM right after the workshop!
Teacher: Gita Kali Natarajan, Found and Director of Bhakti Spirit, shares her experience and tools for YOU to learn how to choose love every day. Over the years, Gita has immersed herself in the wisdom of ancient practices, studying with revered gurus in India, living in an ashram in the United States for 7 years, and continually seeking new tools to help others heal.
With 24 years of experience teaching yoga and 13 years sharing the devotional music of kirtan, Gita’s offerings are infused with love, devotion, and authenticity. As a Reiki Master, Hindu priest (pujari), and licensed acupuncturist, she beautifully integrates these diverse modalities, creating personalized pathways for healing, connection, and self-discovery. Her approach invites individuals not just to heal, but to open their hearts, find joy, find community, and connect with the Divine. She can do yoga with anyone who wants to, having worked with children with special needs for years, to professional athletes. When it comes to yoga, her passion lies in teaching yoga philosophy, yoga lifestyle, mantra and yoga teacher trainings. She has created BE yoga yurt and community, the DC Kirtan Fest, ran a temple at an Ashram in VA, currently works with Kula Kamala ashram in PA, and is always finding a way to serve others.
