Over the course of three weeks, immerse yourself in a hands-on exploration of your senses through guided journaling and therapeutic art. Each 90-minute session invites you to slow down, engage with the world around you, and connect with yourself in a deeper way. Through interactive prompts, creative exercises, and reflective practices, you’ll unlock new perspectives, find inspiration, and leave feeling refreshed and grounded. No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and an open heart!No prior journaling or art experience necessary. Really!
What is provided:
📔 A journal that can be personalized just the way you like it. The journal will be used for all 3 sessions so make sure you bring it with you each week.
🖊️ ✏️ 🖍️ A variety of pens and pencils for you to use. All art supplies.
📝Guided Journal prompts and therapeutic art directions.
🫖 Hot tea or hot chocolate.
🍿 Very simple snacks.
🕊️ A safe and supportive space to explore, reflect, and connect with nature and yourself.
What to bring:
Wear clothes you don't mind getting art supplies on. Wear layers as it can be chilly in the space on the really cold January winter days! Also, there may be a couple of times that we go outside so appropriate outerwear and shoes for the weather is recommended.
Workshop size has a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 participants to run.
Registration is required and will close Tuesday, January 7 at 8:00 pm. Please send email and phone/text number so that you will receive the information for any changes.
Pre-payment is required.
Cost to attend is $45/person for the series of 3 Workshops.
Attending a single workshop is $20.

About your facilitator:
Judy Smith is a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist with over 25 years of experience helping people manage stress, find joy, and connect with the present moment through recreation, fitness, and leisure pursuits. Her passion for journaling began at age 11, inspired by The Diary of Anne Frank, and has since become a lifelong practice. During a challenging health journey, Judy discovered the healing power of combining therapeutic art with journaling, a practice that became integral to her complete healing and overall well-being.
In her workshops, Judy uses therapeutic art, journaling, creative movement, joy breaks, laughter, and other surprises to offer playful yet powerful tools for self-reflection, stress relief, and personal growth. As a certified coach in both therapeutic art and journaling, her approach blends creativity and wellness, inviting participants to nurture their mind, body, and spirit in a fun and meaningful way.
Judy lives in the picturesque White Mountain Region of New Hampshire with her family and beloved dog. She owns a historic paper mill, which she transformed into The Wonder Studio—a creative haven for dance, art, fitness, and community gatherings.
