About this Event
**THIS EVENT IS IN PERSON IN SYDNEY**
This is the first workshop in the Living Design series, a hands-on session where we dive into the principles in Morteza Pourmohamadi's upcoming book and collaboratively visualise the concepts. We invite you to join this exploratory session and experience the power of community—the visualisations may even be featured in the final book!

Living Design is an inside-out account of how we reframe messy problems and generate creative solutions. Sitting at the confluence of design and cognitive science, it looks beyond tools and templates to the cognitive moves and capabilities that do the real work. Using a Five Ps lens (Problem, Product, People, Person, and Process), we explore design as a way of living and thinking, not merely an occupation.
ABOUT MORTEZA POURMOHAMADI
Morteza is a multidisciplinary designer, researcher, and Lecturer in Design at the University of Sydney. Across three decades in visual, industrial, and systems design, he has studied how we reframe fuzzy problems into feasible solutions, where cognition meets strategy and, increasingly, AI. He sees design as a deeply human capacity that exercises our best thinking beyond tools and templates.
