About Luvieur /
Stephanie Ee is the person behind the moniker Luvieur, an auto-didact artist exploring social and cultural landscapes through her paintings. Her paintings have strong themes of identity and female empowerment, with a minimalist style and wabi-sabi approach.
She began practicing art again in 2012 after she broke her collar-bone, which forced her to stop her work as a photographer. Starting with paintings of skulls and skeletons, her subjects then took on a form of zombies or un-dead. As she continued to work as a photographer, the two creative roles started to merge as she featured more women of colour, with strong themes of identity and female empowerment.
In 2017, Stephanie was featured in her first group exhibition by Daek William celebrating and representing local female artists, including names such as Pippa McManus and Jodee Knowles. After some life changes in 2019, Stephanie moved back to Perth from London and became a full-time artist to pursue her passion. Since then, Luvieur work has been on murals, exhibitions, live painting auctions, and brand illustrations.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the Whadjuk community, in particular Neville and Connie Collard, for walking alongside us and for helping to teach us by sharing their knowledge, their stories and their songlines. This generosity and wisdom enables us to navigate Country respectfully.
