Complete information: https://umbc.edu/event/livewire-14-ruckus/The 14th annual Livewire new music festival kicks off with a concert by the Ruckus ensemble, featuring works by Linda Dusman, Alexandra Gardner, Sam Garrett ’11, music, Patrice Repar, and Anna Rubin, including three premieres. The ensemble features UMBC faculty Teodora Adzharova, piano; Lisa Cella, flutes; Patrick Crossland, trombone; Juan Sebastián Delgado, cello; Dustin Donahue, percussion; Natalie Groom, clarinet; Gita Ladd, cello; Airi Yoshioka, violin, and conductor Philip Mann.

This is the first of six concerts of Livewire 14: Resounding, October 24–26 at UMBC.
$15 general admission, $10 seniors, $5 students.
Linehan Concert Hall, located in the Performing Arts and Humanities Building, is easy to visit, with plenty of free parking.
