Intimate partner violence (IPV) is claiming more lives in our community than ever before. Behind each statistic is a person, a family, and a preventable tragedy. Join us on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex, for an evening of learning and discussion about intimate partner violence.
This community-centred event features keynote speaker, Riley Spigarelli, Bethesda House Executive Director, followed by a panel of local leaders, advocates, and experts. Together, we’ll unpack the root causes of this deadly trend, and—more importantly—offer pathways for community members to ask questions, get support, and be part of the solution.
To support this event, Clarington is offering a free drop-in recreation program for children ages 2.5 years and up, while their parent or caregiver attends the community conversation. Space is limited. 🧒🏽🧒🏼
