WHY THIS EVENT?
It can be tough to know what it takes to remain healthy or to return from illness. There is so much information out there, much of it conflicting, it can be virtually impossible to work it out. And even if we land on the truth, how do we use it to make real, sustained, changes in our lives?
The end goal of having health is usually the same. We want to feel alive, and vibrant, and have the physical energy we need to live a thriving life! However, while the end goal may be the same for all of us, the path we take to get there can look very different.
How have these health professionals navigated this?
This is what this 2-day seminar is about.
Over 2 incredible days, you will hear from several exceptional health professionals about their lived experiences in health and healing - both from their perspective and the perspective of their patients/clients.
Real-world, practical, and lived.

THE SPEAKERS:

At 40 she was propelled to change her lifestyle after a fatty liver, prediabetes, and Hashimoto’s diagnosis. She has overcome sugar and processed food dependency, alcohol dependency, and co-dependency to heal her inner world. Tracey shows people how to improve the physical health of their minds and bodies and overcome all the mental barriers to living a flourishing life. BRIDGET ARCHER, MP - Bridget was first elected as the Federal Member for Bass in the May 2019 election. At the 2022 federal election, Bridget became the first Liberal member in more than 30 years to hold the seat for a second term. Prior to being elected to federal parliament, Bridget served on the George Town Council from 2009 first as a Councillor, before Deputy Mayor in 2011, and then Mayor from 2014-2018. In both local and federal government, Bridget has actively worked to break the short-term mindset that comes with election promises and instead focus on long-term strategic planning to create a stronger economic future for the next generation, not just to the next election cycle. As someone committed to being a genuine and authentic representative of her community, Bridget is passionate about wanting voters to have trust and faith in their elected representatives which, at its core, must come from acting with integrity and truly representing the views of the community first and foremost. Bridget lives with her husband Winston and her five children on a family farm in George Town. https://www.bridgetarcher.com.au/

She has been researching the vested interests and religious ideology shaping our ‘plant-biased’ dietary and health guidelines since 2014. She has been on a fascinating journey of self-discovery over the last few years, researching the history of religious ideology and its intersection with commercial vested interests intent on demonizing animal protein and fats. In 1991 he moved to Western Australia and decided to practice rural and remote medicine in Tom Price a remote mining town in the Pilbara, in north Western Australia, more than 4 hour's drive from the nearest public hospital. Here, Julian practiced as a rural GP, then moved to Gnowangerup, once again an isolated rural town about 4 hour’s drive south of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. He was the only doctor in the town and practiced there for the next 10 years. Julian always had a passion for preventative health and specialised in helping his patients lose weight. After only a short period, he managed to have most of the town participating in daily walking groups, becoming fitter, socialising, catching up with local gossip, and having a good laugh doing it. After moving to Launceston, Tasmanian 2002, Dr Henley continued to practice preventative health and educate his patients about the link between high cholesterol and heart disease. Ironically, Dr Henley suffered a stroke at the age of 54, after years of trying to be healthy. He has radically changed what he eats to help preserve his own life. This has driven him to write this book to help everyone who is struggling with being overweight, so that what happened to him never happens to them. https://whatyouwerenevertold.com/
