About this Event
The more well-known types of religious law, like Catholic Canon Law and Islamic Law, have been written about extensively, and those institutions promulgate official customary and religious laws more regularly. Even religions like Hinduism, although it has over a billion adherents worldwide, are underrepresented in comparison.
In this panel discussion, religious scholars who are experts in Halachic (Jewish) Law, Hindu Law, and Buddhist Law will address the aspects unique to the jurisdictions, legal fields, and groups who are governed by these types of religious law.
