Has your child been recently diagnosed with allergies? Wondering where to next? We are here to help. Living with allergies is so much more than avoiding allergens. An allergy diagnosis brings along with it a wide range of emotions and often a significant life adjustment. We understand this can be an incredibly challenging time for families.
Our newly diagnosed workshop provides parents with a chance to meet other families facing the same challenges and learn about adjusting to and managing the change to your life/lifestyle, food allergy management and also associated stress and anxiety that can accompany the diagnosis. We also spend time talking about the social and emotional impact of food allergy management and what it means for your family as well as important coping strategies.
Presenters - Emma and Monique are psychologists and mothers of children with food allergies who have been through this journey as well.
