Live Your Best Child Care Life: Overcoming Burnout!
Come join us at the Papillion Public Library for an event dedicated to helping child care providers overcome burnout! If you're feeling overwhelmed and exhausted from the demands of caring for children, this is the training for you.
This professional development workshop draws on Overcoming Daycare Burnout: Steps to Living Your Best Daycare Life by Suzette Salmon to help early childhood providers/educators recognize the signs of burnout, strengthen professional boundaries, and rediscover joy in their daily work. Participants will engage in collaborative reflection, practical problem-solving, and personal goal setting, leaving with concrete strategies to create a more sustainable and fulfilling child care career.
Don't miss this opportunity to connect with fellow child care professionals and rediscover your passion for what you do. See you there!
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify common causes and warning signs of burnout in early childhood caregiving and reflect on how they personally experience them.
- Apply at least three practical strategies —such as setting clear boundaries, simplifying lesson planning, and building positive client relationships—to reduce stress and improve job satisfaction.
- Develop a personalized action plan with realistic, measurable steps for maintaining well-being and sustaining long-term engagement in the child care profession.
