Join our Spanish community for a live Via Crucis through downtown Southbridge. We will begin in Notre Dame Church with our Spanish-speaking community acting out Jesus's final night, starting from Jesus being brought to Pontius Pilate for the first time through Pontius Pilate condemning Him to death. Then, we will begin the live Via Crucis portion, where we will process down Main St., towards Cross St., down Hamilton in front of the Flat Iron building and St. Mary's Church before making our way back to Main St. and returning to Notre Dame Church for Jesus's final moments on the cross and our Good Friday Liturgy. This is a Spanish-language event, but the live Via Crucis is a powerful reminder of Christ's sacrifice for us and our salvation and the actions are understandable no matter which language you speak. We invite non-Spanish speakers to attend as well.
