A darkly whimsical reimagining of the Grimm Brothers' Snow-White and Rose-Red, follows two spirited sisters who abandon civilization for the mysteries of the forest. There, they forge unexpected bonds with wild creatures and a once-imprisoned bear who escapes his dwarf captor and ensnares both sisters in his awakening. What unfolds is a biting black comedy, where the ideals of sisterhood and escape collide with the merciless realities of desire, identity and social constraints. In Kricheldorf's version, love is blind, hope falters, and there's no princely redemption. Only the harsh return to an unforgiving reality.
