Nightmare Culture invites you to a night of dark folk and industrial music in the magnificent “industrial cathedral” of Ewii House.Solblot from Sweden was formed in 2003. The music is based on traditional northern European folk music with national romanticism and natural mysticism as the leading themes, but their music incorporates experimental elements as well. Solblot’s lyrics are all in Swedish and their stage presence gives hints at a rural 19th century Sweden.
Die Weisse Rose from Denmark has roots in the experimental industrial tradition with a bombastic, rhythmical sound accompanied by video collages. Die Weisse Rose has toured Europe and Northern America with several heavyweights of the industrial genre. Die Weisse Rose was among the first foreign bands to play in Ukraine after the Russian invasion at support concerts in Lviv and Kiev.
Moineau is the musical incarnation of Benjamin Sperling, bass player and vocalist in the esteemed Austrian neofolk formation Jännerwein. Moineau takes folk influences and subtly combine them with a variety of alternative and experimental genres. The result is a hand-crafted and personal musical and lyrical style of a darker nature.
