NJ Salsa teams up with Alex Pro to bring you LIVE SALSA FRIDAYS, at Wild Rose, in Garfield!
Join us on Friday, Nov 15th, bring you live Salsa music in New Jersey! On this Friday, we feature Julio Y Su Orquestra Son Sabroso!
VIBE
For many years, Jersey was a hub for live Salsa music. Every Friday night, different Salsa bands were on rotation. People would come out dressed well, and smelling good knowing that they would soon be on the dance floor with both, new and familiar faces, dancing to live Salsa. We're looking to recreate that tradition, with new experiences, for a whole new vibe that we call, LIVE SALSA FRIDAYS!
LESSONS
We love to open the party with Salsa lessons! Join instructors Steve Santos & Merykathe Fernandez of NJ Salsa, and pick up some dance moves that you can use on the dance floor that night! Lessons start at 8pm with a beginner-friendly salsa lesson, and is followed by an intermediate-level salsa lesson.
MUSIC
We'll be hosting 2 rooms with different genres of music on this night!
DJ Frank will be holding down the Bachata Room with a mix of Traditional, Modern, and Sensual Bachata! He'll be throwing in some Salsa, Merengue Tipico, and Latin Top 40!
DJ Commandante will be holding down the Latin Room with heavy Salsa in its full scope from Salsa Romantica to Salsa Dura! He'll also sprinkle in some Bachata, and Merengue!
2 Rooms in one dope venue! Your ticket will give you access to both rooms all night!
LIVE SALSA
We're so excited to be bringing back a regular Friday night event with live Salsa music!
This week, we'll be featuring Grupo K'ndela ! This talented band moves between NJ, NY, and CT sharing their Salsa with music-lovers and dancers all around! Don't miss their 1st set, and you're not going to want to leave before their 2nd!

Wild Rose has a small parking lot, and plenty of street parking around it.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Wild Rose has a small bites menu that serves till midnight. Their bar serves a full range of beer, wine, mixed drinks, and top shelf liquor, and for those who would like to share a bottle with friends, their prices can't be beat...$99 bottles of Tito's, Buchanan, 1800, and Aguardiente before 10pm!
TICKETS
Advance tickets are $20 with associated Eventbrite fees, or entrance can be purchased at the door in cash at $30.
