Coming to perform LIVE at the Art House on September 3rd, 2025!
Rae Isla is an independent American singer-songwriter from Bainbridge Island, WA, now based in Los Angeles. Drawing
from her early years playing classical cello, learning piano and guitar as a teenager, and attending Berklee College of
Music on a vocal scholarship, Rae weaves together a unique blend of folk, indie rock, and alt-country influences to create
lush, evocative songs. Her 2021 debut album, Another Life, garnered critical acclaim with features in Rolling Stone and
Billboard, and charted #27 on NACC radio. Her newly released sophomore album, New Frontier marks an evolution in her
artistry. Known as a “traveling bard,” Rae’s live performances are both intimate and immersive, sharing fantastical stories
from the road and creating a communal experience that breaks down the barrier between artist and audience. Rae Isla
kicked off 2025 with a twang, releasing her new Lawrence Rothman-produced and Pete Lyman-mastered song "Years
Beers Her Tears", followed by fan favorites “Traveling On” and “What If I Die Flying Over Oklahoma?”
Ali Angel -
With her retro soul meets indie twang style, independent artist Ali Angel is carving a distinct niche in the LA music scene. Her songwriting echoes classic influences like Sheryl Crow, yet her voice and presence are unmistakably her own. Since launching her artist project, Ali has earned editorial placements from Spotify’s “The New Retro,” “Fresh Finds,” “Feel Good Dinner” and Apple Music’s “New in Alternative” for her songs “Play Pretend” and “Hold”. She’s received attention from radio stations including 88.5 The SoCal Sound and 88.9 KXLU and her songs have been featured on prominent shows like, “Tulsa King” on Paramount Plus. Set to arrive this October, Angel’s debut full-length album Is This Really Happening? combines her warm vintage sound with a modern indie touch, while lyrically tapping into vulnerable topics like sexuality, mental health, and self-discovery.
