We’re excited to present Red Light / Night Life, a live performance from our &NOW Artist-in-Residence Jordan King! ?Join us Sunday, May 5th at 8PM for Red Light / Night Life! This performance is FREE to attend and approximately 50 minutes in length. Light refreshments will be provided.
The work-in-progress multi-media performance explores the life of a single character meant to represent many possible lives, addressing emergence onstage in the world of nightlife, tumultuous love affairs, ultimately facing the reality of aging and mortality. The piece includes movement, exploration of different characters, and immersive set design, created in collaboration with projection designer Nathan Bruce.
The performance will be recorded, and an edited version will be available to view online and in our gallery in late May. This is a phenomenal opportunity to see this hybrid installation and projection design in its experimental phase!
