?The role of hormones – the impact of fear on birth
?Using the breath, yoga and mindfulness to stay calm.
?Active birth positions to use during contractions and birth.
?What and how to get your baby to turn natural into the correct position for birth (OFP)
?How to reduce anxiety for both you and your partner.
?How your partner can support you during labour.
?Where you might be birthing and things you can do to help with your contractions / surges.
?Preparing for caesarean births or emergency caesareans.
?The importance of your birthing environment.
?Relaxation, meditation, visualisation & “hypnobirthing” techniques.
?Aromatherapy, rebozo (Mexican scarf technique for birthing) and massage.
?An explanation of medical interventions / instrumental delivery and why we may need them.
?Pain relief options – Natural, holistic and medical, and their pros and cons.
?The role of your birth partner(s) - how they can support, encourage and hold a safe space for you.
?Building confidence and support for both you and your birth partner.
?The first hour post birth – Skin to skin contact, cord clamping, placenta delivery and newborn checks.
?Life with your newborn – Once you are home, some practical tips and suggestions to help you during your fourth trimester.
?Meet other couples locally, preparing for their babies. So once we are out of lockdown you are not on your own.
?Meet other Mama's, so whilst we continue with our virtual classes you can connect with them and their babies.
?And lots more tips and tricks to help you on your journey to parenthood.

£120 PER COUPLE
You can attend this online course with or without your birth partner. Group sizes are small (3 – 8 couples), we recommend booking in advance to secure your place.
