Originally from Eugene, Oregon, AJ has spent over 15 years writing and performing music under various projects, and Blind Bard is his most personal yet.
Blending Americana, blues, and folk influences, his performances mix heartfelt originals with thoughtful covers — drawing inspiration from literary greats, his roots in Northwest Arkansas, and his journey with Macular Dystrophy, which began in 2011. His songs read like journal entries, full of reflection, hope, and the pursuit of what is good, true, and beautiful.
