I am Frolock. A guitarist and singer that got way too good at the video game “Guitar Hero” as a kid. For me, the weekends were times my family gathered together bonded by our shared love of music. This set the foundation for a love that would influence all aspects of my personal and professional life. Now, my goal is to share that bond with everyone else, to create a family anyone can join.
In 2020 my journey really began as a professional musician.
I've played in a few really good bands. Nobody Special was the first one, It was one of my inception and we focused a simple mission. Do “Guitar Hero” for real, to perfection as an homage to the greats of the past, and my past with my family. We played all over including venues like: Dantes, Ilani Casino, Eastside Bar and Grill, private parties, The Big Legrowlski, At the Garages Satellite Pub, Cascade Bar and Grill NYE Party 2022. We competed in the 105.9 “The Brew”(Local rock station) Battle of the Bands in 2022. However, after years with them my time with that band ended, and it was time for me to pursue my own work. A part of me will always be Nobody Special though.
Since then as Frolock I've played many venues: The Astoria Crab and Seafood Festival 2024, Tacos in the Park 2024, Mount Olympus Brewing, Lazergator fest 2024, Breakside Brewing, The Office Bar Milwaukee, Jam in the Park 2024, Barrel Room, the Barn Hickory Station, Hyatt Lake Resort in Ashland, 14 Hands Winery in Ridgefield, and Penner Ash wines in Newburg to name a few highlights.
So fast forward to 2025 and it's bigger now, after these years I've easily played over 300 shows by myself, with The Dude(Acoustic duo), or the full band(Myself as guitar and vocals, “The Dude” on Bass, and Andrew LaMont on drums) and entertained thousands of people. No stage is too big or too small. I can play to a room of one or a thousand and still be enthusiastic and bring the energy needed to have a fun time. Now it's bigger though, my band is now a thing and we're having a blast doing it. We travel anywhere to make the music happen. We do anything to make excellent product. We do not settle for “good enough”. Excellence is all we do. We bring the rock, now all you've gotta do is roll with it.

I'm still that kid who played way too much "Guitar Hero", just older and a bit more experienced, and still bringing joy through the music to others. Now I'm more than just a guitarist; I'm a performer, band leader, manager, and creative visionary. We're currently working on recording material for my upcoming album “Ascension”. The album vision is one of the trials and tribulations of being in the world of Rock n Roll, and taking your place among the greats.
