Join Compass Point, home of Dirty Girl Adventures, for some LIVE MUSIC in The Backroom Bar from The Boneshakers! We are super excited to host this iconic band led by world-renowned guitarist Randy Jacobs and featured singer Jenny Langer. The Boneshakers and members have toured and recorded with Bonnie Raitt, BB King, Buddy Guy, Seal, Keb Mo, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Mindi Abair, Bootsy Collins, Tears 4 Fears, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Iggy Pop...just to name a few. A stirring blend of Detroit soul with Muscle Shoals-style R&B on full display every show. In 2022, as The Boneshakers celebrated the 25th anniversary of their first release, a new energy and excitement emerged.
In 2025, Gulf Coast Records (founded by Mike Zito and Guy Hale) signed The Boneshakers and released the band's 11th album, Live To Be This. Released on July 18, 2025, "the album is a veritable parade of mind-blowing grooves, sharp lyrics, and guest appearances that demonstrate the respect the Boneshakers have earned among the greats of blues and soul".

Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures, is a family-friendly environment, and everyone is welcome. We even love dogs on leashes! We have many offerings at the Canoe Bar, from event drink specials to mocktails and soda; we have something you'll want.
Compass Point is part of the NOTO Common Consumption Area. This allows you to purchase an alcoholic beverage from a licensed CCA vendor and walk through the Common Consumption Area. All drinks within the CCA MUST be in a branded cup from one of the licensed CCA vendors within the NOTO Arts District.
