Silverburn is the solo project of James ‘Jimbob’ Isaac. The Welsh metal visionary began this journey during the cruel lockdown winter of 2020. It has been said that extreme conditions demand extreme responses, and ‘Self Induced Transcendental Annihilation’ (SITA) began as an elemental response to the almighty global gut-punch that surrounded it’s creation.
With this album, Isaac has meticulously crafted a wholly uncompromising solo offering in the truest sense. Spirit Metal, Quantum Thrash, Metaphysical Post-sludgecore… call it what you will, this album takes zero prisoners. A true dark night of the soul, in stereo.
Having written, constructed and finalised each song at his digital home studio within a self-allotted twelve month time frame, Isaac then proceeded to practice and actualise the live drumming over the twelve months that followed. The two and a half year creative journey then culminated in the recording studio where JB committed each live instrument to tape with producer Gethin Pearson at his Institute of Sonic Architecture studios in Wales, in January 2023.

The Death Of Money
Formed in south Wales during 2004, (originally named The Death of Her Money), TDOM have been taking audiences, and themselves, on some beautifully heavy aural journeys ever since.
Their sound still stands approximately in the ballpark of doom and sludge metal, albeit with a lightness of touch and the audible influence of post-rock, shoegaze, goth and ambient music.
Their latest album ‘Error After Era’, released in 2024 via the bands own label 'Suntreader' marked their 20th anniversary as a band and their first album since 2017's 'Ghost Pains' (SuperFi) which took the band on a slight detour towards a more gothic, sombre sound. 'Error After Era' marked their return to being one of the heaviest bands on the planet, whilst still managing to set foot into new territories, they have always stayed true to their unique sound.
TDOM are now based in Cardiff and Manchester, they are guitarist + vocalist Darren Kaskie, drummer Ian Charles and bassist Marc Real. They have toured the UK, Ireland, Europe, Ukraine and Russia.
They have collaborated with Jarboe (Swans), Bethan Lloyd and Caroline Cawley (Dystopian Future Movies/Church of the Cosmic Skull). They have shared the stage with many bands over the years such as Beak>, Cate Le Bon, Gnod, Giant Swan, Liturgy, Pelican, Bossk, And So I Watch You From Afar, Fuck Buttons, The Icarus Line and many more..
Press
"If shoegaze and doom are your thing, this is definitely a record to check out; I’m a
convert.’’ - Echoes and Dust.
“KKKK” - Kerrang
“This is all killer and absolutely zero filler. 9 out of 10” - Rock Sound Magazine
The Death of Money are more than a bit special in the British scene, and “Error After Era” is an absolutely blistering tribute to a twenty-year career in sonic terrorism. They really shouldn’t be whispered about in circles embracing the underground. They should be as coruscating, as huge, as expansive as their sound is. They are more than good enough to be fucking huge.- Ever Metal
