Paul began playing guitar at the age of 9. He formed his first band at 12 and played Rock and Roll until 1987, when, after seeing Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Greg Allman Band, changed direction to playing Blues. The 90’s brought a good run with his bands King B. and the Buzztones and Buzz Deville. Influences include Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Anson Funderburgh and The Rockets, and many others. Along with his current Blues band, The Left Paul Trio, Paul was also in a Classic Rock band called The Shaggwells, covering 60's and 70's music. Paul's solo repertoire includes songs from both bands.
