Michael Tarbox crafts homemade rock ‘n’ roll infused with rattlesnake venom and gospel-drenched howling, creating what fans call a “spiky backwoods sound.” Rooted in 60s rock and the music of the American South, his songs reflect a hard-won perspective and are driven by his tough, barbed-wire guitar style. A founding member of The Tarbox Ramblers, Tarbox has released several solo albums, blending his passion for pre-war blues, gospel, and raw humanity into music that resonates with gamblers and dreamers alike.
