Godzz of Wor consists of 3 members, all ex pro players from internationally touring and known bands. Jim Clare, (guitar/vocals), ex Venom and Cronos; Chris Bennett, (drums/vocals), ex Groundhogs, Paul DiAnno, Samson, Eric Bells Thin Lizzy, Black Rose, Egypt and B J Skeels, (bass/vocals), ex (original) Iron Maiden, Gypsy, Mongrel, Zior, Savoy Brown. They started life as a ZZ Top tribute band, hence ZZ after God, however, because as not all venues wanted a full ZZ Top show, they broadened their sets to cover bands like Rolling Stones, Free, Bad Company, Dr Feelgood, Rod Stewart, Hendrix, Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher and George Harrison.
