Generation FeralGeneration Feral is an anti-establishment ukulele warrior. The DIY solo project of Izzy Liddamore is for fans of Kae Tempest and Fiona Apple: she serves up a strange soup of spoken word, raging art-punk, and vulnerable piano music - accompanied with a generous side of female rage.
Generation Feral’s writing style is fascinated with lived experience and human emotion – sometimes aimed sharply at the government’s failings of the people, sometimes pen-down in an act of helpless surrender and emotional overwhelm.
She explores this in her first EP "life looks best sideways" where she takes overwhelming, suffocating political issues teeming with buzzwords, and dissects them under her own personal microscope, seeking human connection in an alienating world.
This year has seen her biggest achievements to date: with slots at Truck Fest, Latitude and FOCUS Wales this summer, following her first support tour with PET NEEDS and being championed by Tom Robinson on BBC 6music - she is one to watch for sure.
Sarah Passmore
Sarah Passmore is well known in the Swansea music scene both as an individual performer and for her work with Sarah and the Creepy Uncles, and folk supergroup Dark And Twisties. Her ear for melody and dulcet guitar playing mark her out as a truly unique performer and we can’t wait for opportunity to see her play some of her solo compositions.
Parson Howl
Parson Howl sings songs about the mundanity of life with a beauty that you may not at first expect. Soulful and skilful in equal measure, he’s one to watch on the local folk scene.
