About Daz's Rock 4 Charity
Bristol Musician Darren Sims (aka Daz) is proud to be a fundraiser and also an ambassador for VARIETY - The Children's Charity. As well as local smaller gigs and events he has organised big charity concerts, the first of which was at Bristol Colston Hall in 2007 and 10 consecutive years after. There have also been concerts in Hull, Leicester and on the Grand Pier Weston-super-Mare (Hull and Grand Pier are still annual events). The Concerts and fundraising have benefitted many different charities, individuals and good causes including The Nicola Corry Support Foundation, The Rainbow Centre for Children, Cash for Kids, The Bristol Children's Hospital, Teenage Cancer Trust, CASE, Children's Hospice South West, Avon Riding Centre for the Disabled, Variety - The Children's Charity, Cancer Research, Project Brailler, Kye Vincent, James Hart, Ted Spencer, Oskar Pycroft, It's in the bag, Georgia Clarke, Simon Berry, PROPS, Cameron's sensory garden,
Annabelle's Power chair, James Walker Eyegazer, Helping build Ceesay nursery school Gambia, Eyegazer for Yasmin, Jenson's home adaptations, Ezzy Hodge SDR operation and wheelchair, Makayla's iRobot, Kyah's epilepsy monitor, Oscar Cridge SDR operation and aftercare, Dottie and Dolcie purifiers, Cameron's Therapy Pool, Kevin Coley Motor Neurone Disease operation
