Swinging Larry Westbrook is a blues musician known for his soulful vocals and rolling guitar style. Influenced by legends such as John Lee Hooker, Lightning Hopkins, and Brownie McGhee, Westbrook has built a reputation for his authentic and captivating blues sound.
One of Westbrook's notable accomplishments is his longstanding collaboration with The Honey Stompers, a renowned blues band. Since 2007, he has been an integral part of the group, contributing his unique style and musicianship to their dynamic sound. The partnership has resulted in numerous successful performances and a loyal fan base.
Swinging Larry Westbrook's dedication to the blues is evident in every note he plays. His profound respect for the genre's roots coupled with his innovative style creates a truly captivating musical experience. Swinging Larry’s repertoire covers songs from the pre war, Piedmont, Texas, country and modern blues eras.
