We are looking forward to welcoming Luke Potter back to The Sail Loft Dartmouth on Friday 28th January.Luke Potter is an artist /songwriter / producer based in Somerset, UK. He first broke onto the scene with 2017’s single “Something More,” on Sony Records, a track that’s had over 18 million Spotify
streams. He's certainly packed a lot into his time making music, including a period in Orlando, and in 2014 he recorded an album, ‘So Sugar’, with collaborator Bleu. From 2014 until now he has continued to travel extensively with writing / recording sessions in London, Canada, USA, Spain, The Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden (his second home). In 2020 that Luke began to work with London based songwriter and artist, Jacob Browne and he has, to date, has co-written with and produced 4 albums of original songs with him amassing over 5 million streams. They have recently formed a duo, Starlight Alice, and their 1st single,‘I Swear to God’, has been released to great critical response. 2023 saw Luke reconnect with Jörgen Elofsson and together they started to write songs “from the heart”. 20 or so songs have now been written and recorded and are being placed. In March 2024 Luke was asked to present a songwriter workshop for music students at Weston College.
