DCPL has teamed with our pals at The Brew Bridge to bring Owensboro a FREE night of excellent night of indie rock. If The Wonders from That Thing You Do! got together to make an album with Matthew Sweet that was produced by Jeff Lynne of ELO, it might sound a bit like Mike Adams at His Honest Weight. You’d need to add some Brian Wilson harmonies, though. Guess for Thrills, the latest Honest Weight record, released via Joyful Noise (The Melvins, Sebadoh, David Lynch) in 2023.
Snake Brain, your new favorite local band, features members of another one of your favorite local bands, Supertrash. Fans of Snailmail and Superchunk will adore them as much as I do. Bet.
