#LinkedInLocal is a meetup concept originally created on LinkedIn with the purpose of meeting your online LinkedIn connections face-to-face, offline.
The purpose is to unite people from all walks of life in facilitated events hosted around the world, to genuinely get to know the humans behind the LinkedIn profiles, and to connect beyond the job titles, business cards, and company names that are so common at most networking events.
Proceeds less administrative costs for this event will be donated to Tampa Crossroads.

#LinkedinLocal - North Tampa is about community, and community starts with building human-to-human relationships first and then acting as one to give back to those in the community who need it the most. This and future events will be hosted at locations easily accessible to those whose life and work centers in North Tampa and South Pasco County.
We have a no wallflower and no clique policy at our events. You will be immediately welcomed and introduced to other business professionals.
Featured Charity
We are thrilled to have Tampa Crossroads as our featured charity! They operate programs assisting Veterans experiencing homelessness in need of housing, persons with disabilities who seek employment, and individuals with mental health and/or substance use conditions in need of behavioral health treatment. Their mission is to provide holistic, person-centered, family-focused opportunities for positive change and personal accountability through evidence-based treatment, housing, and supportive service.
Event Format
NETWORKING + WHISKEY TASTING + SUPPORTING TAMPA CROSSROADS! We offer facilitated networking at our events that is different from what you usually experience. We never do the same networking exercise two events in a row. Offering a variety of engaging experiences is our goal. Our featured charity will also speak about the work they're doing in our community, and the evening wraps up with the charity receiving a financial gift from all who bought tickets. Our whiskey expert from Whiskey Culture will interject occasionally with a whiskey taste (for those interested) and explore the people, pours, and history that make up the culture behind the sample.
