Peterborough's best and only jug band now appears monthly and early-ishly at the legendary Pig's Ear Tavern. Blues in the Bottle is a jug band which seeks to share the haunted euphoria and strange mythos of tobacco-chewing roosters, France-visiting corpses, and other gritty magic that is jug band music. Blues in the Bottle are David Tough (Vocals/Verbalism, Guitar, Harmonica), Aaron Cavon (Vocals, Jug, Kazoo, etc.), John Mather (Washtub Bass, Harmonica, Banjo, Vocalisms), Buster Fewings (Washboard, Vocalities), and Matt Watson (Mandolin, Vocalizations).
