Back by popular demand, join us at Bamburgh Castle with a spectacular weekend of live jousting from The Knights of Royal EnglandAn extra special treat for Father’s Day!
Taking place in the West Ward, the space will be adorned with 3 tonnes of props and equipment, featuring 14 knights battling it out to become champion, and 4 magnificent Spanish horses, this will be an unmissable show, never before seen in the grounds of Bamburgh Castle.
Expect fanfare, choregraphed foot and weapon combat, live stunts and high drama.
The jousting field opens at 1:00pm
The jousting tournament begins at 2:00pm
The jousting tournament finishes at 3:30pm
Free with castle admission – Arena side seating limited, and offered on a first come first serve basis on the day.
Please note Bamburgh Castle and The Knights of Royal England reserve the right to cancel any activities if weather conditions are unsafe for jousting to go ahead
